How it Works

So let me give you a list of things and discuss each.

1. Whiteboard Software - I use Video Scribe. It makes creating whiteboard animation fairly simple. It does have its limitations so before ordering a gig, you need to contact me to discuss your needs. When you contact me you should attach a script to your message. You can read more about scripts at http://whiteboard-fiverr.blogspot.com/p/script_9.html

2. Script - You must send me your script for review before ordering. Not all whiteboard animation software is created equal. The only way I can tell if  my software can do your gig is to review your script. Best for me to review it BEFORE YOU ORDER, NOT AFTER. You can read more about scripts at http://whiteboard-fiverr.blogspot.com/p/script_9.html

3. Voice Over - Getting a voice over is highly recommend. When there is a voice over, I can use more images than text when creating the whiteboard. You can read more about Voice Overs at: http://whiteboard-fiverr.blogspot.com/p/voice-over.html

4. Images - I can't draw. Instead I use high end vector images when creating the whiteboard gig. Each image is enhanced for drawing with Adobe Illustrator. Once I have enhanced the image, I input the image into the Whiteboard software and it will draw what I input (including the enhancements I added with Illustrator).

I can also use raster images (JPG, PNG), but if possible I will  use vector images since the quality of vector images are much better than raster images.

I have a huge image library so usually images is not an issue. If you are promoting a product, you should provide me an image of that product. If there are any other unique image needs, we need to discuss before you order the gig.   You can read more about images at: http://whiteboard-fiverr.blogspot.com/p/images.html

5. Music - I will add background music to the video unless you tell me you do not want music. All my music is royalty free.

6. Logo - Highly recommend sending me your logo if you have it. A quality logo can really add a professional touch to a whiteboard. In most cases, logs are raster images so make sure the quality of your logo is quite good or it will not look good in a HD video.

If you did have your logo created with Illustrator (AI), Photoshop (PSD), and  have the source file, send me the source file of the logo.

7. URL and/or Contact Info - I'm always surprised how many clients forget to provide me their URL. If your whiteboard video goes viral and you did not include a URL in the video, there is no way they are going to find your site. In most cases I can add the URL or any contact info at the end of the video after the voice over is finished.

8. Rendering - When I get ready to render your video scribe to a video, I usually save it as a MP4 video. MP4 is probably the most widely used video format today. I will render your video in HD.

9. Ordering - this should be the last thing you do as a buyer after we have reviewed and discussed your gig. If you order too soon and I do not have everything I need to do the gig, time will work against us. Once the order is placed, the Fiverr clock is ticking and I need every second of that time to complete the gig -- not to discuss issues we should of discussed before you placed the order. You can read more about Delivery/Cancellation at: http://whiteboard-fiverr.blogspot.com/p/deliverycancellation.html

BEFORE ORDERING, I WILL DO A LAST MINUTE REVIEW TO MAKE SURE I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED AND IF ALL IS OK, I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS.

10. After the Order - Despite our best efforts problems do happen. Many of those problems are out of the hands of both the seller and buyer but instead is a Fiverr glitch or an unexpected issue. Communication is key. Please check your Fiverr messages daily in case there is an issue that I need to bring to your attention.

TYPICAL ORDER

A typical order goes something like this:

The client sends me an initial message on Fiverr with their script attached. I review the script to make sure there are no issues and check my image data base to make sure I have the appropriate images for the content. After the script review,  I reply to the client's message to let them know if there are any issues to discuss  --  if there are no issues, I instruct them on how to get a voice over.

The client orders the voice over (turn around is usually pretty fast) and once the voice over is done, the client sends me the voice over for review. Usually there are no issues with the voice over. It is important that the voice over and script match word for word for me to sync properly.

If the client wants a  logo (highly recommended) in their whiteboard, they need to provide. Also I recommend they provide me their URL. If all is ok we are ready to order and I instruct the client on ordering.

After the order is placed, the Fiverr clock starts ticking and I must complete the gig in that time frame. I put on my creative hat and get busy working on the whiteboard gig. If there are no issues, usually I complete the gig before the deadline.

Once I complete the whiteboard video, I  go to Fiverr's order page for your gig and attach your whiteboard HD video to a delivery message for you to download.

SOFTWARE

Normally I use the following software to create a whiteboard gig.

1. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop -- used to enhance the image's drawing, add certain painting effects, and if need be to make adjustment to the images. There are other things I may do but I would have to write a book to cover it all.

2. Video Scribe -- this is the actual whiteboard software for creating the whiteboard

3. Vegas Video Pro - this is a high end video editor. I may or may not use depending on the size and/or needs of  the whiteboard gig.
