Voice Over

Probably 99.9% of my whiteboard gigs get a voice over. The exception is usually when it is quite small (50 words or less) - for example a birthday greeting.

A voice over adds clarity and emotion to a whiteboard gig. When a client has a voice over, I can use more images than text in the whiteboard animation. For this reason alone, it is highly recommended you get a voice over.

Let me give you the SCOOP on voice overs below.

START OF SCOOP

I don't do the actual voice over. But I do sync them. You can search for a voice over artist on Fiverr to do your voice over or you can do the voice over yourself.

If you want professional quality voice over a lot of my clients use:

https://www.fiverr.com/blueburn67/voice-act-for-you (let Chris know that Stevie sent you)

https://www.fiverr.com/narrationmagic/gluten-free-all-natural-voice-over-narration (let Don know that Stevie sent you)

Please tell the voice over artist NOT to add background music. Best I add so I can sync it properly.

Once you get the voice over done, send it to me BEFORE ordering. I need to make sure there is no issues with the voice over before you order the gig.

END OF SCOOP

IMPORTANT:  You should of sent me your script to review before you got the voice over. If after I review the script and you changed it for the Voice Over Artist, you must provide me an updated script that matches the voice over word for word for me to sync it properly.

SYNCING AND SUMMARY

So in summary:  I have reviewed your script, after I reviewed your script, you sent it to the Voice Over artist. If you made some changes to the script when sending it to the Voice Over Artist you updated the script so I can sync the voice over properly.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY CHANGES TO THE SCRIPT AFTER I REVIEWED SHOULD ONLY BE MINOR.  IF YOU MADE A LOT OF CHANGES TO THE SCRIPT, YOU MUST SEND IT TO ME AGAIN FOR REVIEW BEFORE GETTING THE VOICE OVER DONE.

Syncing the Voice Over is very tedious work. I have to sync it manually. When I sync a voice over, I listen to 2 to 4 seconds, sync it, listen again and make any necessary adjustments and once I have it synced, I do the process again for the the next 2 to 4 seconds and so on, until I have the entire voice over synced properly.
